2006 to present. A pub rock AND roll outfit fronted by Mr. John Ramberg. Dan Peters on Drums, Jim Sangster on Bass, Johnny Sangster guitars & vocs.
2016 - Vocal supergroup fronted by Neko Case, kd lang & Laura Veirs. I had the honor of guitar duties for their 2016 summer US and Canada tour. Barbara Gruska on Drums, Lex Price on Bass, Steve Moore keys & Johnny Sangster guitars & vocals.
Rusty Willoughby's power trio since 2004. I recorded a record by them in 2006 whereafter the band broke up. They resurfaced in the 2012s and I joined up playing the guitar. Rusty Willoughby guitar and vocals, Scott Sutherland bass and vocals, Jim Hunnicut drums and Johnny Sangster guitar.
2013 - 2015 Various tours performing as a duo or trio. Mark Lanegan vocals, Jeff Fielder guitar, Johnny Sangster bass & guitar.
2010 - 2013 - This lineup was closely tied with the Cobirds Unite and Maggie's Coming Home record. The cast of characters included John Convertino, Joey Burns, Barb Hunter, Rachel Flotard, Barrett Martin, Christy McWilson, Mark Lanegan, Jon Auer, and Rusty Willoughby. Tours were in the US and Europe.
Having produced her 2015 release Stardust, Bronwynne has invited me to share the stage with her several times, most recently for her 2017 UK tour.
2014 - One off show at the EMP music museum in Seattle. We backed Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, Dave Alvin, Shawn Colvin, Keb Mo & Marc Cohn. Eric Eagle drums, Dan Walker keys, Jason Staczek keys, Andy Stoller bass, Dan Tyak slide guitars.
2004 - 2013 Mark Pickerel recorded three albums for Bloodshot records with this cast of folks. Mike Musburger Drums, Eric Eagle Drums, Jim Sangster Bass, Drew Church Bass, Barb Hunter Cello, Micah Hulsher keys, Johnny Sangster guitar.
2012 to present - Kwab Copeland led "Eugene Wendell and the Demon Rind" has had many a distinguished member. Current lineup is Bill Herzog drums, Carrie Robinson bass, Johnny Sangster guitar. Other members include Ian Moore, Drew Church, Steven Barci, Faustine Hudson, Ryan Leyva & Indigo Hook.
2010 - 2012 The band that formed around Rusty Willoughby's album Cobirds Unite. Rusty Willoughby guitar & vocal, Rachel Flotard vocals, Barrett Martin bass & drums, Maggie Bjorklund pedal steel, Johnny Sangster keys.
2003 - 2009 After a few recording sessions with Mudhoney, Steve asked if I would help record his debut solo album which led to several years of playing together, three albums and an ep. Other members include Jim Sangster bass, Dan Peters drums, Holly Golightly vocals, Bruce Brand Drums, Stone Gossard bass, Kevin Warner drums. I played guitar, bass and keys. US and European tours.
2005 - 2010 Various gigs. The Tripwires had the distinct pleasure of backing Eric in both the US and UK. We dubbed our outfit "A Touch of Class - a Wreckless Eric tribute featuring Wreckless Eric".
1999 to present. Roy Loney of the Flamin' Groovies / Phantom Movers / along with a crew of Seattleites. Jim Sangster lead guitar, Joey Kline rhythm guitar, Graham Black drums and Johnny Sangster bass. Other members include Scott McCoughey, Tad Hutchison & Kev Lee.
1983 - present. Formed in Seattle by Johnny Sangster & Jonathan Stibbard the Sharing Patrol recorded one release for PopLlama records before relocating to Copenhagen in 1984. There they joined up with bassist Henrik Tuxen and later keyboardist Jakob Palitzsch, recorded for Sonet records and eventually EMI records and toured extensively in Europe, Scandinavia and even the former Soviet Union. Although not actually broken up, the band has been less active with Johnny Sangster in Seattle and the other lads in Denmark.
2001 - 2005 Formed around the writing pair of Robb Benson & Michelle Price The Dear John Letters had a short and fiery five year run producing three albums and a slew of shows. Robb Benson vocals & guitar, Cassidy Laton drums, Richard Davidson bass, Johnny Sangster guitar & keys.
1990 - 1994 Danish all girl (ahem) country group featuring the lead guitar and writing of Maggie Bjorklund. I was the secret member wearing pants and playing the rhythm guitar.
